Where and When

The Heart of Texas Chapter meets the second Saturday of each month at R B Hoover Library in Waco, Texas. Guests are welcome to visit three meetings before asked to join.

Directions  

 
From Dallas: (2 Routes)

Stay on I-35 to Valley Mills Dr. (Exit 333A). Stay in the far right lane and merge onto Valley Mills Dr.  Stay on Valley Mills to Wooded Acres. (The 10th traffic light). Turn right on Wooded Acres to Bosque Blvd. Turn left. Travel 1/2 block and turn right into the Lake Air Center.

Traffic Lights:
1) Bagby
2) Speight Ave
3) Dutton Ave
4) Clay Ave
5) You’ll go over Franklin Ave
6) Waco Dr.
7) New Road
8) Sanger
9) Lake Air Dr
10) Wooded Acres to Bosque

(OR)

Stay on I-35 to the New Road exit (Exit 331) and get in the far right lane. At the light, take a right onto New Road. Stay on New Road until you get to Valley Mills Dr., and then take a left at Valley Mills. (the 6th traffic light).

Traffic Lights:
1) Bagby
2) Memorial
3) Beverly
4) Franklin
5) Waco Dr.
6) Valley Mills Dr.

After turning left, stay in the right lane. Go to the third traffic light and turn right at Wooded Acres and then left on Bosque. Turn right into the Lake Air Center.

1) Sanger
2) Lake Air
3) Wooded Acres to Bosque.

 

From San Antonio: 

Take I-35 North to Waco. Take the Meridian - North 6 exit (Exit 330) and go up the service road about ½ mile. Take the exit to the right under Hwy 6. Road loops up to Hwy 6 and crosses over I-35.  Look for the Bosque Ave (Loop 396) exit. Should be the 6th exit from the Interstate. Take the Bosque exit and get into the far right lane. At the traffic light, take a right onto Bosque. Drive past where Bosque and Valley Mills intersect. West Waco Library & Genealogy Center is on the left in the Lake Air Center.
